HDMA ELECTS NEW MEMBERS TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

ARLINGTON, Va., October 18, 2011 – The Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) announced the appointment of six new members to its Board of Directors at its second Annual Board & Membership Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona:

  • Maria M. Burns, Vice President, Corporate Secretary, Burlington Drug Company, Inc.;
  • Gregory Drew, President, Value Drug Company;
  • Terrance Haas, Chief Executive Officer, Harvard Drug Group;
  • David W. Neu, President, AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation;
  • Dale Smith, Chairman and CEO, H. D. Smith; and,
  • Albert J. Thomas, Senior Director and General Manager, VaxServe, a sanofi pasteur company.

Additionally, Neu was elected Vice Chairman of the HDMA Board of Directors. David S. Moody, Jr., RPh, Chief Executive Officer, Mutual Wholesale Drug Company, will continue to serve as Chairman.
