HDMA Board of Directors
The HDMA Board of Directors may have up to thirteen (13) voting members consisting of current healthcare industry leaders who are corporate officers of an active member organization.  HDMA's immediate past Chairman of the Board serves as the HDMA Foundation Board Chairman. Terms of office are three years, and members may serve up to two consecutive terms. The Foundation Board of Directors is elected annually by the HDMA Board of Directors.  Terms of office are three (3) years, with a provision that the terms of no more than one-third (1/3) of the terms of members expire in the same year, or as close to this proportion as can be implemented. 

Nominations of candidates for election are made in accordance with HDMA Bylaws with Board of Director election by the active membership held at the annual meeting or, at the Board’s discretion, by a mail or electronic ballot system prior to the annual meeting, with the results announce at the annual membership meeting.  The HDMA President and CEO shall be an ex officio non-voting member of the Board.
